…is an important part of contemporary art as a whole. Our specialty is exactly this elusive interface — the common ground between art and applied art. Especially in the Central European art world, many prejudices and stereotypes against the crafts and decorative arts still prevail.
We have carefully selected fine unique pieces from small international studios and workshops, just for you. Contrary to the common stereotype, these pieces prove that the function of a work often can convey a meaning, and that handicraft items may also be conceptual, and socially and politically critical. Our design products exhibit a wide variety of material, manufacturing processes, and ethical-aesthetic philosophy.
